Hello! I am John and I like to collect stones. When we go hiking in the park, my friends would always say “John, don’t pick up that rock!” But I was never satisfied with just one stone and wanted to take them all home.
I’m an amateur geologist now and it’s been really interesting learning about where these stones came from or how they were used by ancient people. It’s a very rewarding hobby because you get to learn something new every time you find a new type of stone.
One day, I found a special stone near the river bank where I love to go digging. It was so beautiful and sparkly. The most surprising thing about this stone was it looked fresh out of the quarry! It even had some granite dust on it from being freshly cut. This became my favorite stone because of its unique quality and how special it was to me.
